Sara Jane Harvey and her Offie

Neurochatter, written and performed by Sara Jane Harvey, has been selected as a finalist at the 2025 OffWestEnd Awards (the Offies) and won an award in the 'Offest' category.

The play, concerning a character coping with dissociative personality disorder symptoms, specifically multiple distinct identities, was part of the 2024 Greater Manchester Fringe (where Sara Jane Harvey won ‘Best Newcomer’) and later went on to Edinburgh.

Not one to rest on her laurels, author Sara Jane Harvey is currently developing the play into a draft screenplay and rewriting it with a view to returning to the Brighton Fringe in 2026 and Edinburgh in 2027. The pause from the stage is due to the author going on maternity leave.

The 2025 Greater Manchester Fringe runs from 1 to 31 July 2025 and applications are now open.
