Blackpool Grand Theatre’s annual Christmas pantomime Sleeping Beauty has proved to be more of a ‘slumbering’ giant at the box office.
The venue enjoyed a record-breaking year with an 89% increase of local families taking advantage of a family deal. That included a 30% rise in group bookings and 10% increase in revenue.
The Grand pantomime receives celebrity visitors too. This time they included comedian Peter Kay (who took a festive break from his national sell-out tour, having not toured for 12-years) and Hi-de-Hi actress Su Pollard, to name just a few.
