Handheld Arts presents Gated Community, eight twisted cautionary tales told through puppetry inspired by The Exorcist, The Wicker Man and Running Wild by J G Ballard comes to Alphabetti from Wednesday to Saturday.

The Rocky Horror Show is at Sunderland Empire from Monday to Saturday.

From Tuesday to Thursday at 2PM, The Customs House presents children’s show The Rabbit's Tail.

On Monday and Tuesday, the John Godber Company and the Theatre Royal Wakefield present Godber’s Shafted! at the Gala, Durham.

The panto Sleeping Beauty comes to Billingham Forum from Wednesday to Sunday.

Oddsocks presents The Legend of King Arthur at Middlesbrough Theatre on Tuesday at 1PM.

Intimate storytelling in which audiences gather around a miniature model of a snowbound village, An Icy Man draws on Northern folklore, myths and legends at ARC Stockton on Wednesday at 2PM and 7PM. Then on Friday and Saturday (various times) Little Mighty presents Horace and the Yeti for age 3+.

Treasure Island (for age 3+) comes to Darlington Civic at 2PM on Tuesday.
