South Shields’ Customs House theatre is holding open auditions for its 2016 panto fairy.
The panto is Jack and the Beanstalk and it will run from 29 November 2016 to 7 December 2017.
Ray Spencer, the Customs House director and co-writer and director of the panto, said, “we are really interested to see who is out there. Whoever you are and wherever you come from."
The auditions will be held on 4 May between 11AM and 6PM and anyone interested should e-mail [email protected]. Those wishing to audition should be over 18 and need to prepare an a capella song and a monologue.
