Ilyria's Macbeth

As the weather improves, the The Hawth's programme goes alfresco with four performances from Illyria, which returns to Crawley with Shakespeare's Macbeth (June 13), Pirates of Penzance (July 13), Roald Dahl's classic George's Marvellous Medicine (July 26), and an adventure-filled adaptation of Robin Hood (Aug 3).

Pitchy Breath Theatre takes to the amphitheatre stage with its own fairytale creation Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood (July 5 and 6).

For the children, there is a brand new show Peppa Pig's Big Splash (June 21 and 22) and The Gruffalo (Sept 23 - 25). Lydia Monk's picture book What the Ladybird Heard (July 9 and 10) goes from page to stage with music, puppetry, music, audience participation and plenty of laughs.

Two top West End shows complete the comedy line up with Avenue Q (June 26 - 28) and The National Theatre's One Man, Two Guvnors (Aug 18 - 23) with Sean Williamson and Emma Barton.

Music shows include the Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Eva Cassidy Story, the Simon and Garfunkel Story, Lisa Mills, Forever in Blue Jeans, The Billy Fury Story and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's Last Night of the Proms.
