The new stage thriller from Susan Hill, the million-selling author of chiller The Woman In Black, goes on tour next month.

Promising to take audiences to a new level of terror, The Small Hand stars Andrew Lancel, whose recent stage credits include Epstein.

He is best known for his 'Villain of the Year' winning role in ITV's Coronation Street; other television credits include The Bill and Bad Girls.

On stage with Lancel is Diane Keen, a popular television actresses, whose credits include the late 1970s sitcom Rings On Their Fingers and BBC daytime soap Doctors.

Robert Duncan completes the cast. His best known television credit is Drop The Dead Donkey and his extensive stage credits include A Streetcar Named Desire, The Taming of the Shrew, Jane Eyre, Educating Rita, and most recently Twelve Angry Men.

The tour runs across October and November and takes in

  • Theatre Royal, Brighton
  • Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne
  • Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield
