The Scoop

Free Theatre at The Scoop

The Steam Industry will again be presenting free theatre at The Scoop, More London (next to City Hall), for six weeks from 31st July to 7th September, Wednesday to Sunday at 6.00 and 8.00pm.

This year's productions are Lorca's Blood Wedding in former Poet Laureate Ted Hughes' translation and Joan Cushing’s musical Petite Rouge – A Cajun Red Riding Hood (opening on 13th August), based on the children's book by Mike Artell and featuring comedy, puppetry, song and dance.

There is no need to book. Spacein the 1000-seater amphitheatre is allocated on a first come first served basis but audiences remember that many of the events reach capacity so early arrival is recommended.
