Pirates on the Thames

Ocean Theatre Company is to present Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance on a real life pirate ship, The Golden Hinde. Berthed near London Bridge Sir Francis Drake’s replica galleon will host this open air production for a strictly limited season..

Ocean Theatre Company’s summer musical follows on from the success of Così directed by the company’s award winning artistic director Andrew Miller.

As the action unfolds amongst the audience the pirates will invite all patrons to join their band in order to woo the girls, fight the police, and win the day.

Performances begin July 20th and continue until September 3rd, Thursday to Sunday evenings at 7pm.
