English Touring Opera returns to Blackpool Grand with a double bill.
Lust, love, war and death rage through Iphigénie en Tauride and Don Giovanni.
The first, Gluck’s masterpiece, is set in the aftermath of the Trojan War and details the reunion of central characters Iphigénie and her brother Tauride. Don Giovanni is one of the world’s most charismatic and well-known antiheros and perhaps the greatest work by one of the most famous composers of all time, Mozart.
English Touring Opera performs Iphigénie en Tauride on May 13 and Don Giovanni the following night.
