The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

The National Theatre’s huge hit show The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night-Time opens its UK tour at The Lowry in Salford over the festive break from December 18 to January 10.

Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company presents an ingenious adaptation of classic children’s story Three Little Pigs at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre this Christmas.

From the people who brought Charlie & Lola's Extremely New Play, Watershed Productions is back at Sale’s Waterside Arts Centre to January 3 with the Polka Theatre production of James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl.

St Helens Theatre Royal’s festive panto production Jack and the Beanstalk runs to January 11. It includes singing legend Linda Nolan as Mrs Fleshcreep, Waterloo Road regular Abby Mavers as Princess Jill, Emmerdale’s Kurtis Stacey as Jack and Coronation Street’s Nick Cochrane as King Charles.

A show that stormed EchoTwo @ Liverpool’s Echo Arena for five nights last Christmas returns for an extended three week run in the intimate surroundings of sister venue, The Auditorium. Dreaming of a Barry White Christmas is a ‘Scouse Scrooge’ adult comedy and will run from tomorrow to January 3.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong comes to The Lowry this Christmas, featuring 12 local young stars as Peter Pan’s famous ‘lost boys’. It is a comedy spin on a classic family favourite from Mischief Theatre, which enjoyed success last year with The Play That Goes Wrong and runs to January 11.
