My English Tongue, My Irish Heart

Jointly presented by Green Shoot Productions, Belfast and The University of Manchester, a newly commissioned play, My English Tongue, My Irish Heart, will visit Manchester and London following its opening in Belfast in early May and a local tour.

Written by Belfast playwright Martin Lynch, the drama tells the story of Irish emigration to England through the generations and is based on the book The Literature of the Irish in Britain by Liam Harte.

Lynch directs the show in-the-round; it is suitable for the over-16s.
