Lost Boys in rehearsal for Peter Pan Goes Wrong

Following the success of The Play that Goes Wrong, this November Mischief Theatre returns to Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre with its new comedy Peter Pan Goes Wrong.

The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society is attempting to stage Peter Pan but, as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong does as the accident-prone thesps embark on an adventure to Neverland with disastrous results.

Mischief Theatre was founded by a group of graduates of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and began as an improvised comedy group. Now this ensemble cast of ten will bring mayhem to Guildford, but things have already gone awry—they've lost the Lost Boys.

Luckily, the Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre has come to the rescue and the following young members, aged between nine and thirteen, will join the Mischief cast for the Guildford performances: Olive Wickham, Abigail Callahan, Oscar Kilby-Gentric, Darcey Young, Arun Sutton, Harvey Balsdon, Archie Lewis and Olivia Isaacs.

Head of Youth Theatre, Adam Ford said, "I"m so pleased for those who were chosen to appear in the show. It was a fun audition session and all the twenty-five Youth Theatre members who were there gave the company a tough choice. I was very proud of them.

"I'm especially pleased to see that so many from our Saturday Open Stage classes were chosen. It goes to show there is a real depth of talent in our Youth Theatre.

"This is a great opportunity to be involved in such a high profile show. It will be a really exciting challenge for them to work with a talented company and to be a part of such a madcap play. What could possibly go wrong?"

Peter Pan Goes Wrong is at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre from Friday 21 November to Saturday 29 November before embarking on a major UK tour.
