The Lowry in Salford has plays, musicals and family productions in May, including new festival Week 53 from the start of the month.
The story of Wales’s most loved performer Tom the musical (May 25 to 28) and the eastern answer to Romeo and Juliet, Laila the musical, (May 31 to June 4) are two highlights.
Associate artist Lung presents Chilcot, a verbatim play exploring the Chilcot Inquiry (May 26 to 28). And 2Magpies Theatre will be presenting new work Last Resort as part of Week 53.
This new interactive theatre experience will explore the future of Guantanamo Bay in The Dock (May 6 to 7).
