Tickets for the Manchester return season of Disney’s award-winning production of The Lion King will already on sale for its five weeks at the Palace Theatre, Manchester from January 17 to February 22.
This follows its previous record-breaking engagement from November 2012 to April 2013.
By the time it had completed the earlier 21-week run, the production had played to more than 322,000 people at 166 performances, and generated more than £15 million for the local economy.
Manchester is the only city from the show’s successful tour of the UK and Ireland that will see a return engagement.
