The Almeida takes on Edinburgh
The Islington based Almeida is taking on the Edinburgh Festival and the Fringe, by offering its own theatre festival in Malvern from 6th to 26th August. It will feature two world premieres: a new version of Racine's Phèdre by Ted Hughes (starring Diana Rigg) and Edward Albee's The Play about the Baby. Also in the season is the Almeida's production of Shaw's The Doctor's Dilemma, which will finish a five-week tour at the festival.
