Jungle Book New Tour

The Birmingham Stage Company's production of The Jungle Book is to have another UK tour. In 2005 BSC commissioned well-known children's playwright Stuart Paterson to adapt Kipling's 100 year old classic tale with a new score from BB Cooper (music) and Barb Jungr (lyrics). The show was a huge success touring in '05 & '06 and played to sell-out houses all over the country.

Top animal expert Peter Elliot has created the animal movement in the play. Elliot played the monkeys in films including Greystoke, Gorillas in the Mist and Congo. The Jungle Book has a multiracial acting company of ten and is directed by Neal Foster with designs by Jackie Trousdale and lighting by Jason Taylor.
