The Royal Shakespeare Company will host a week of activities for families in Stratford during the May half-term.

Workshops on offer include Speaking Shakespeare on Tuesday 26 May from 11AM until 12 noon, Stage Fighting on Wednesday 27 May from 11AM to 12.30PM and from 2 until 3.30PM and The Story Garden in which four- to eight-year-olds can have a go at performing part of a Shakespeare play. The Tempest is on Tuesday 26 May and Henry V on Wednesday 27 May, both from 11AM until 12 noon.

Former RSC head of wigs and make-up Brenda Leedham will lead Blood, Guts and Gore, demonstrating how bruises, cuts and scars are created, on Friday 29 May from 11AM for an hour.

There is a charge for the workshops. The RSC will also be organising a number of free, drop-in activities.
