Dateline: 7th March, 2004 Another DocuDrama at the Tricycle Following the success of its dramas on the Stephen Lawrence muder (The Colour of Justice) and the Hutton Inquiry (Justifying War), Kilburn's Tricycle Theatre is to tackle another current political concern, the detention of over 650 people at the Guantanamo Naval Base in Cuba. Guantanamo - Honour Bound to Defend Freedom is based on personal stories, legal opinion and political debate and is written by writers and journalists Victoria Brittain and Gillian Slovo, and will be directed by the theatre's artistic director, Nicholas Kent and Sacha Wares. It runs from 20th May to 12th June. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
