The Gate is 25

Notting Hill's Gate Theatre celebrated its 25th birthday on Thursday 18th March and marked the occasion with a special gala night hosted by Bill Nighy and Fiona Shaw.

Later this month it launches Taking Liberties, a season of three experimental plays:

29th March to 24th April
Happy Yet?
Four short Feydeau plays played simultaneously.

3rd to 22nd May
Gone Missing
By The Civilians (New York)
A musical "mockumentary" about things which people have lost in New York.

7th to 10th July
The Arab-Israeli Cookbook
By Robin Soans
Food in a divided community. Based on interviews with Israelis and Palestinians.
