St Petersburg Ballet has announced a third and final extension to its run at the London Coliseum with two more matinées of Swan Lake.
The London season runs from Thursday 13 to Sunday 23 August, featuring 11 performances of Swan Lake and two of La Bayadère. The new performances, which went on sale on Monday, will be at 2:30PM on Thursday 20 August and 1PM on Saturday 22 August. No further extensions will be possible.
Prima ballerina Irina Kolesnikova will lead the company, dancing Odette / Odile in Swan Lake and Nikiya in La Bayadère, as it continues its sold-out tour of Paris, Singapore, Melbourne and Tokyo. She will be joined by guest performers including Kimin Kim (Mariinsky Theatre), Denis Rodkin (Bolshoi) and Vadim Muntagirov (Royal Ballet).
The 55-strong company will be accompanied by the 40-piece St Petersburg Ballet Orchestra.
