Jobs: Derby Theatre on the lookout for freelancers

Derby Theatre is looking for youth theatre directors and freelance practitioners for a number of projects.

The theatre needs freelancers to work with a group of 12- to 15-year-olds to devise and develop a piece which will be performed on the main stage. This will be for a week beginning Monday 24 August.

Bosses are also looking for someone to work with their youth theatre group towards a production on the main stage in summer 2016. The role will start in September 2015 and will involve regular Sunday sessions.

Anyone who wants to be part of Derby Theatre’s pool of freelancers should email a CV and covering letter to [email protected]. The deadline is Sunday 2 August and interviews will be held on Friday 7 August.

Further details are available at the Derby Theatre web site.
