The Octagon in Bolton is looking for local young men with a playing age of 18 to 30 (actors must be 18 or over to apply), who would like to audition for the Octagon’s production of Early One Morning (from October 9 to November 1) by Les Smith.

No previous acting experience is necessary to be in the community company, although some singing ability would be beneficial.

All applicants must fill in an application form and return it to the Octagon by 5PM on August 21; invited workshop audition sessions will then be held on August 23. All successful applicants will be contacted with details of their audition time.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who would like to develop their skills, perform on the Octagon stage, and have the experience of working with director David Thacker and professional actors in a large scale production. Five individuals are required.

All of the community company roles being cast are voluntary, and no expenses will be paid.
