The Customs House in South Shields has announced its autumn season.

Theatre highlights include (this week) Tom Kelly's I Left My Heart in Roker Park (extra performance) on Monday in the Studio, Made4Stage Productions with local writer Wayne Miller's new play The Big Hit (23 to 26 September) in the Theatre and Gary Kitching and Co with Dead to Me in the Studio on Thursday.

These are followed by:

  • 29 September: Feelgood Theatre Productions, Not About Heroes by Stephen MacDonald (Theatre)
  • 29 and 30 September: Unlimited Theatre and Bush Theatre, Money the Gameshow by Clare Duffy (Studio)
  • 30 September at 2PM: Big Mouth Piano Tales, Barbar the Little Elephant (Community Room)
  • 1 October: AIM in association with Entertainment Unlimited, Dirty Dusting by Ed Waugh and Trevor Wood (Theatre)
  • 2 & 3 October: Northern Nomads and Bridging the Gap, Butterfly by Paul Charlton (Theatre)
  • 6 October: UK Touring Theatre, A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen (Theatre)
  • 15 - 25 October: A Customs House Production, Lucky Numbers by Mike Yeaman (Theatre)
  • 15 and 16 October: Gobscure, Collector of Tears by Sean Burn (Studio)
  • 22 - 25 October: Customs House in association with Ditch or Date, GSOH "Would Like to Meet" by Arthur McKenzie (Studio)
  • 29 - 31 October at 4pm (2PM performance on 31): Wendy the Witch and the Haunted Mansion Community Room
  • 30 October (2:30PM): Tangram Theatre, Albert Einstein: Relativitively Speaking (Junior Edition) (Studio)
  • 3 November: Rumpus Theatre Company, Captain Murderer (Theatre)
  • 20 and 21 November: The Paper Birds, Thirsty (Studio)

This year's panto is Little Red Rising Hood and it will run in the Theatre from 2 December to 10 January. The other Christmas show will be Santa's Naughty Elf and the Workshop of Mayhem which runs in the Studio from 13 to 24 December at various times (check at box office for details).
