Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will be transformed into the magical world of Ratty, Mole, Badger and Road as Chichester Festival Youth Theatre take audiences on an outdoor promenade performance of Toad of Toad Hall from 4th to 16th August, in the grounds of the RR Cars’ manufacturing plant near Goodwood. The landscaped garden, lakes and courtyard of the 42 acre site will recreate the woodland animals’ haunts in various locations including the Wild Wood by Badger’s House, the Rabbits play area, Ratty’s riverbank, the courtroom and the imposing Toad Hall. Sixty local children aged between eleven and nineteen will be directed by Dale Rooks, Youth Theatre Director, and a travelling band will accompany the performers.
