Want to Be a Star at the Old Vic? graphic

Want To Be a Star at The Old Vic?

For the third year running, the Old Vic is inviting the bravest actors, writers, directors and producers to take on the ultimate stage challenge: The 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices.

Participants are invited from those who are aged 18 to 25 and dedicated to a career in theatre. Following auditions and workshops at The Old Vic, successful applicants will have just 24 hours to prove their talent for play-making. 1000 friends, family and industry insiders will be invited to watch the results on The Old Vic's historic stage.

The 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices is a thrilling, inspiring, adrenaline-fuelled event, that also acts as a powerful talent showcase. To date, the competition has launched the careers of over 100 young practitioners, with participants securing agents, West End contracts and major commissions.

For the first time, applications are open to people who live across the UK - not just in the London area.

Application forms available from www.oldvictheatre.com/24 and applications close on Friday 30th November.
