24:7 Announces 2008 Programme

Manchester's 24:7 Theatre Festival for new short plays has announced the sixteen plays to be included in its fifth festival, to be held in July.

The performances will once again take place in the Midland Hotel and Pure at the Printworks, and this year there will also be a new venue in Zavvi record shop in the Arndale Centre.

The plays chosen for this year are:

• The Colorado Session by Jessica Luxembourg
• ContreCoup by Ross Andrews
• Daisies by Alistair McDowall
• Dave & Jeff Versus The Crazed Corpse Loving Consultant From Cardiothoracics by Stephen Michael Lowe
• A Dog Called Redemption by Mathew Landers
• fourteen by Ian Moore
• Fully House Trained by Peter Collins, Neil A Edwards & Graeme Flynn
• Granny Must Die by Ian Townsend
• Grass by Mark Whiteley
• Human Habitation by Rob Johnston
• The Impossibility Club by Mark Griffiths
• Lands End by Richard Joseph Medway
• Lay Down & Love Me Again by James Howell
• Quadruped by Robert Shore
• Watching Stars by Kate Gilbert
• Ways To Look At Fish by Colette Kane
