Based on the tales of The Arabian Nights, 1001 Nights is a show devised and directed by Douglas Rintoul for audiences aged six and over, and it starts a UK tour in May.
The stories have been recreated by Transport's artistic director for a modern young audience by having Shahrazad, as a young girl torn between her home in Syria and her new life in the UK.
A co-production with the Unicorn Theatre, when the show opened there last year it was nominated for an Off West End Award for Best Production for Young People.
The cast comprises Samantha Béart, Krystian Godlewski and Keshini Misha.
