The Secret Garden
An American site for a very British play. There's a synopsis, photos, details of the Broadway cast, a song list and what the author calls a libretto but isn't (it's the song lyrics). There are also sound samples of three songs but one doesn't work and another only plays three chords! There's also out-of-date tour information.
Showboat
One page: details of the writers, the 1994 New York production, and an outline of the story.
Smokey Joe's Cafe
As well as the show, this site also deals with the songs of Leiber and Stoller. The UK production has its own part of the site.
Song and Dance
It has an outline of the history of the show (which goes a long way towards explaining why it wasn't particularly successful!), but that's about all.
A Review of Song and Dance
A 1985 review from the Boston Globe which hardly has a good thing to say about the show. Ouch!
Spend Spend Spend
Quotations from reviews, online booking, and the story of Viv Nicholson. Not a terribly good site for a show which is proving so popular.
Starlight Express at the Las Vegas Hilton
This is the official site for this particular production and it concentrates on the Las Vegas show to the exclusion of more general coverage. It does, however, carry some fascinating technical facts and statistics. One long page.
Starlight Express at the Apollo Victoria
This site opens with a forwarding sceen that takes forever to move you on. Brown/red links on a black background make reading difficult, and two almost equally sized frames tend to exacerbate the reading problem. There are a lot of pages, but most seem to be lifted directly from the programme. Some announce that the content is "coming soon". A rather unsatisfying site, I thought.
Starlight Express - Pearl's Domain
A very comprehensive site, combining detailed information (e.g.song lists for all the productions) with some jokey pages which take an irreverent look at the show. A site which captures the show better than most - and you can download the whole site as a 1.7MB zip file!
10086 Sunset Boulevard
This framed page is still under development. This link takes you to a brief history of the show.
Boulevard
Sunset Boulevard, of course. There's a tremendous amount here. General information, Media, Talk and Plus (multimedia) are the sections. The full libretto is there, too. Well designed, easy to navigate, and good to look at.
Sweeney
Todd
One page: details of the writers and about a production in Rotterdam.
