Dance is a small section of the Norfolk & Norwich festival programme, which covers seventeen days from 10 to 26 May 2024.

At Norwich Theatre Royal on Wednesday 22 May, Ockham’s Razor will perform Tess, a retelling of Thomas Hardy's tale of privilege, class, poverty, sisterhood and female desire.

The following day, The Garage will host Xenia Aidonopoulou’s Skydiver, an introduction to dance for children aged between 3 and 5 years.

In the evening, Epic Studios will show Rachel Ní Bhraonáin’s MOSH, a dance, theatre and music show about the culture of the mosh pit consisting of five dancers, one drummer, "humour, heart, and a hell of a lot of headbanging".

On Friday 24 May, Theatre Royal finishes the week with an Accident / a Life, a collaboration between Marc Brew and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, where the pair attempt to find new forms of movement and question socially standardised images of people with disabilities.
